The Pan Am "Bowler Hat" Bag was inspired by former Pan Am Flight Attendant and artist Lynn Welch Hancock. The Flight Attendant she painted is a very close resemblance to the artist herself. Lynn started flying with Pan Am in 1969 through 1991. She was based in Miami, JFK, Honolulu and Los Angeles.
Evan Picone designed the uniform Bowler Hat in named color: 747 Blue
The Bowler Hat is beaded in 747 Blue with an actual Pan Am Metal Pin attached to the hat. The remaining portion of the bag includes stitching to enhance certain features. The back and sides are black and the bag has a pocket on the inside as well as a pocket on the back to hold cell phones etc. A gold chain and Lynn's signature competes the bag.
